Ending fistula takes many hands. Whether you give, volunteer, partner or fundraise, you help a woman get treatment and come home.
Every donation goes to our work with women affected by VVF. Give by bank transfer in naira or US dollars; the account details are on our Donate page.
Helps pay for the operation that ends the leaking.
Helps a woman heal, rebuild her income and return home.
Helps communities learn about safe childbirth and early care.
Our team started as a group of volunteers, and volunteers still power much of what we do.
You might talk with communities about safe childbirth, help at an outreach, design a campaign, write, photograph, organise an event, or lend your professional skills in health, law or finance.
Tell us a little about yourself and we will get in touch.
No one ends VVF alone. We work with hospitals, government bodies, non-profits, companies and communities.
Partners can help fund surgery, host awareness programmes, provide treatment and care, or give expertise and resources. Tell us about your organisation and what you have in mind.
Turn a moment in your life into support for women affected by VVF. A few ideas to start:
Ask friends and family to give to FCI instead of buying you a gift.
Walk, run, cycle or take on something new, and ask people to sponsor you.
Hold a giving day, match what colleagues give, or choose FCI as your charity of the year.
Host a talk, a dinner or a collection at your school, association or place of worship.
By bank transfer, in naira or US dollars. The account details are on our Donate page. After you give, send us a short message so we can confirm your gift and thank you.
Your gift goes to our programmes: funding repair surgery, supporting women through recovery, and raising awareness so fewer women develop fistula.
No. We need people with many different skills, from community outreach and communications to fundraising, law and finance. Health workers are very welcome too.
Some roles, such as communications and fundraising, can be done remotely. Tell us where you are in the volunteer form and we will talk about what fits.
Hospitals and health providers, non-profits and community groups, government agencies, companies, foundations and faith organisations. If you share our goal of ending fistula, we would like to hear from you.
Let her know she is not alone and that VVF can be repaired. With her permission, you or she can contact us in confidence and we will help her find care.
Every gift, hour and partnership brings a woman closer to treatment.
